In 2023, Fiemme Tremila became a Benefit Corporation—the natural evolution of a sustainability journey that began over 30 years ago.
We were founded with the goal of bringing the benefits of the forest into the home, but our commitment goes beyond that. As a company rooted in a unique territory like the Fiemme Valley, we care deeply about the environment around us, the people who live there, and those who choose us every day.

FiemmePER: initiative and sustainability
The FiemmePER Foundation, of which Fiemme Tremila is a founding member, was established in 2022 with two main goals:
• To promote the value of initiative, understood as a drive to take action—a quality we believe is deeply rooted in the people of the Valley.
• To address issues related to the fragility of the territory and the people who live there.
AcquaBosco
A new project dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the Fiemme Valley. Through the careful and selective management of vegetation along the Avisio and Travignolo streams, Fiemme Tremila is committed to ensuring the hydraulic safety of the territory, while preserving its valuable biodiversity and delicate river ecosystems.

Energy decarbonization
We are 100% independent from fossil fuels and actively invest in sustainable energy, moving towards a carbon-free future.
In 2023, following a significant investment, we achieved full energy independence from fossil fuels. A major milestone for us, made possible by the use of clean, renewable sources—and a meaningful message for the community of the Fiemme Valley where we live and operate.
Photovoltaic system expansion: green energy surplus
Alongside the existing 150 kWp photovoltaic system, we have installed a new 200 kWp system. Together, they generate 380,000 kWh of green energy—equivalent to 150% of our annual energy needs.

New 500 kWp woodchip boiler for thermal energy production
Gas boilers have been replaced with a woodchip boiler, powered for 60% by production waste from Fiemme Tremila—supporting material recovery—and for the remaining 40% by forestry residues from the Fiemme Valley.
